WOOHOO!!! Florida meet time!! We traveled to sunny Orlando, Florida February 12-17th for the Presidential Classic! It has been such a long time since the meet, I cannot recall the order they competed (even though I am pretty sure they started on beam and ended on bars -- which seemed to be the case at most of the meets this season!!). For vault, Sophia scored 8.350 - no placement. Bars - 8.725 - 8th place age group 3. Beam 7.575 - no placement. Floor 9.225 - tied for 2nd place with her teammate Caroline. Sophia placed 7th in her age group in the all-around and the team took home the 3rd place banner!! Once the meet was over, the rest of our time in Florida was spent with friends, enjoying the warm weather and having a good time -- which included a trip to Clearwater Marine Aquarium to see Winter and Hope, a day spent in Universal Studios and many other fun activities!!
