Since Sophia only competed in one in-state meet since the beginning of the competition season, she had to compete at a sectional to qualify for States! This took place on March 15th. Vault - 8.300, Bars - 8.150, Beam - 8.875, Floor - 9.000. They do break down into age groups and give ribbons for placement, but we were only concerned with her getting at least a 32.500 to qualify for states -- which she did. She scored a 34.325 -- a good score to go onto compete at States!!
