2011 NAWGJ Judges Cup Invitational

Sophia competed in the Massachusetts Judges Cup Invitational today!  She did fantastic!  She started off the meet doing floor routine!  For this event, she was awarded 1st place for the intermediate age group with a 9.4!  Next up, she moved on to vault.  With an 8.850 score, she took 1st place!!  She then moved on to bars!  She scored an 8.800, which got her a 4th place medal!  Finally, Sophia took on the beam!  She stuck her cartwheel (but was a little wobbly here and there) and got a 9.200!  She took 2nd place on this event!  She finished out the meet with a 36.250 all-around score and a 2nd place trophy!!  Her teammate, Caroline, took 1st place (beating her only by 0.125) and another teammate, Jacqueline, took 3rd!!  The level 5 Elite gymnastics team dominated the meet and took home the 1st place trophy!!!  I will be posting her floor and beam routine videos tomorrow (it's been a super long day)!  I will also be posting pictures tomorrow!!  Next meet is next Sunday - The Pilgrim Harvest Invitational!  Cannot wait to see what more she can do!!  Super proud of my Sophia!!  Here is the link to the meet results!  The results are not separated into the different age groups!  http://www.massnawgj.org/Judge's%20Cup%2010%20results/MR%20S7%20L5%20All%20Ages.htm
