Sophia had a pretty good first meet! This meet was more for the girls new to competing but everyone did pretty well! Sophia scored 9.500 on floor, 9.200 on vault, 8.700 on beam (she fell one time) and 7.800 on bars (she fell doing her squat on - not to the floor)! All in all, I think this was a good meet for her!
Her next meet will be the Judge's Cup on Sunday, November 13. It is being hosted by Gym & More in Woburn. I am not sure of the exact location yet and will post it when I know more! I do know that Sophia's check in time is 11:00am! I am looking forward to her competing this year!! I am also excited that we will be meeting up with Sophia's friend Cory after she is done competing (before Cory's meet session time!)
The following meet will be the Pilgrim Harvest Invitational! This meet will be held at South High School in Worcester on November 20th. Check in time is 11:30! Sophia has never been to this meet so we are looking forward to it! It is being hosted by Giguere's Gymnastics! Sophia did some open gym times at this gym!
Okay, enough for now! I will keep everyone posted on how Sophia is doing!
