Massachusetts Level 8 State Championships

March 29, Sophia competed in her final meet of the competition season -- States!  She was in the last session of the entire levels 8-10 state meet!  She did compete all 4 events and had her 2nd best meet of the season.  She only placed on floor - 9.275 for a 2nd place medal.  The other 3 events looked good -- Vault 8.450, Bars 8.750, Beam 8.600.  She did not place in the all-around and, unfortunately, did not make the level 8 regional team!  We talked and decided she would mark this year off as a learning experience and start to prepare for next year!!  The team is the level 8 Massachusetts State Champion team!!!
